Q: Why did you start this site?
A: One day, a friend and I were trying to decide who would be the designated driver for happy hour. Since we worked in different places, we did not have an easy way to determine this, and we both ended driving, which totally sucked. Out of this necessity, rockvspaper.com was born.

Q: How do I play?
A: There are two main ways to play rock paper scissors using Rock vs Paper:

The first way is using rockvspaper.com. Simply go to the home page, enter in your email, enter in your friends email, choose a throw (either rock, paper or scissors), and click the throw button. Rock vs Paper will send an email to your friend informing him that he has been challenged by you to a game or rock paper scissors. Your friend will then reply to the email with his thow in the subject line. Rock vs Paper will then determine the winner and email both you and your friend the results.

The second way is using your email. Simply compose an email to throw@rockvspaper.com. In the subject line, enter in your throw followed by your friend's email address. For example, to subject line in your email could read "rock john@email.com". Your friend will receive an email from rockvspaper.com where he can reply with his throw. Rock vs Paper will send an email to both you and your friend the results.

Q: What happens when you tie?
A: When you and your friend tie, simply reply to the results email that Rock vs Paper sends you and change the subject line of the reply to: "your_throw friends_email"
For example, to play again and throw rock, change the subject line in the reply message to: "rock john@email.com"
